How is the course delivered? What format is the course in?

Our online course "Introducing British Sign Language" is a self-study course that is set out into 10 sections. Each section is made up of webpages of information and short video clips demonstrating the signs that you are learning.



Assessments


Each section ends with an assessment that involves watching short video clips and answering questions based on what you have seen. To pass the course you will need to achieve at least 85% on each of the assessments on the course. Assessments can be retaken as often as you like. The course does not contain audio.


Certificate


On completion of the course you will have access to your certificate which shows that you have completed the course. This certificate contains a verification code which can be used by people such as employers to verify that your certificate is authentic.
