Introducing British Sign Language is available on a Pay What You Can basis, from £5 per learner. The course’s regular price is £30, but you can choose the amount that is right for you. Yes. Introducing British Sign Language can be used for the three-month Skills section of a Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, subject to approval from your DofE Leader. If you have entered a learner’s details incorrectly, or the enrolment has not yet been used, you can update the learner’s details yourself from your enrolment dashboard. There is no minimum age for taking Introducing British Sign Language. The course is primarily designed for teenagers and adults. It involves a fair amount of reading, independent study and online assessments, so we generally recommend it for learners aged around 14 or over. Learners under 14 Younger learners are welcome to take the course, but they may need support from a parent, carer, teacher or older family member. Enrollments on our online course are valid for 2 years. Once your 2 years has expired your account will become dormant for another year after which it will be deleted.
